Book Launch in New Delhi
The first launch of The Lure of Soma took place in the famed India International Centre in New Delhi. Guest speaker was Dr Kapila Vatsyayan, noted Historian and Art critic and wiiner of numerous awards for her own work on Dance and Art in India. The other gest speaker was Dr K M Pandey, Asistant Director of Archaeological Society of India which is instrmental in continuing excavations of Harappan sites on the India side. The launch was well attended mainly by academics, historians and archaeologist. There was lively debate. The book cover came in for severe criticism as being not representative of the content.
Book Launch in Bangalore.
The second launch was in my home town of Bangalore. It took place in the academic surroundings of MES College, an ultra conservative unit if there was one. The guest speaker was Shatavadhani Ganesh, a noted speaker and author of literature and history. The launch was well covered by the local media and I ws invited by the Rotary Club of Banaglore to be a guest speaker.
British Book Launch!!
Now the book is officially available in the UK. So afr two launches have been planned - first one in Newcastle upon Tyne on 28th March and the second one in Bradford on 4th April

Newcastle Book Launch!!

A book launch is planned for the evening of Friday 28th March at the Customs House in South Shields. Start at 6.30 PM for 7.00 PM. Guest speakers are famed poet and author, Bryan Lewis and Raymond Spencer. There will be a presentation on the Indus Valley culture by myself followed by Book signing. Snacks provided!!
The book is available for purchase on that day at discounted rates!!

Bradford Book Launch!!!!
A book launch is planned for Saturday, 4th April at Kalasangam, St Peter's House, Forster Square in Bradford. It is due to start at 7.00 PM. Guest speaker will be announced soon. There will be a presentation by myself, discussion about the book and sale of book at discounted rates followed by Book signing.
